London’s been spoiling us with the most glorious sunny weather lately.
Some might even say it’s unbearably hot but I’ve been desperately waiting for the sun since Christmas, so I’m not going to complain.
The mercury’s climbing over 30˚C again in London today and I’ve got just the thing for you!
I’ve found the very best vegan ice cream in town.
Yorica in Soho is a colourful fro yo, ice cream and milk shake free from heaven for anyone who fancies a creamy, refreshing treat.
And it gets better: You can have freshly made waffles and crepes with your frozen delights and finish it off with a variety of sauces and toppings.
It was my friend Davina’s birthday yesterday and since the weather screamed for ice cream I treated her (and myself!) to a scoop or two.
We went for salted caramel, cookies & cream, banoffee and gooey vanilla brownie, all four very refreshing, creamy and delicious! We topped it all off with hot, crispy waffles, caramel and chocolate sauce, raspberries and marshmallows and then helped ourselves to a generous sprinkle of hundreds and thousands.
Refreshed and thoroughly satisfied we ventured on to the park for a lay down in the shade.
I very much recommend you do the same! Head over to Yorica as long as the sun’s still out! This is London after all and cold, rainy summer days are no rarity here.
