Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp whole wheat flour
  • 2 Tbsp coconut sugar
  • 2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1 Tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 Tbsp water
  • 2 Tbsp almond milk
  • 1 Tbsp almond butter
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Combine the whole wheat flour, coconut sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder and a pinch of sea salt in a microwave-safe mug.
  2. Add the coconut oil, water, and almond milk to the dry ingredients and stir until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  3. Place the almond butter in the center of the batter and gently push it down until it’s fully covered by the brownie batter.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract for an added hint of flavor.
  5. Microwave the mug for 1 minute. Allow it to cool for a few seconds before serving. Enjoy this healthier, yet equally delicious, vegan treat hot.
