Ingredients:1. 1 cup of all-purpose flour 2. 1 cup of sugar 3. 1/2 cup unsalted butter 4. 2 eggs 5. 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract 6. 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder 7. 1/2 teaspoon of salt 8. 1/2 cup of milk 9. 1/4 cup of water
Instructions:1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan. 2. In a medium bowl, cream together the sugar and butter. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. 3. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt; add to the creamed mixture and mix well. 4. Finally, stir in the milk until the batter is smooth. Pour or spoon the batter into the prepared pan. 5. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes in the preheated oven, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. 6. Let cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack and cool completely. 7. Slice and serve as desired.
